The ABC Islands

Offering world class diving are the islands of Bonaire, Curaçao and Aruba. Yep that’s ABC’s backwards and that is indeed the way we will be sailing them this year. With the tagline “A Diver’s Paradise”, Bonaire boasts colorful reefs rich in a variety of macro life like Frog Fish, Sea Horses, Scorpion Fish and Octopus. It also boasts one of our favorite Karaoke bars, so get ready to sing. Also surrounded by epic reefs, Curaçao offers a wealth of diving and remote beaches. And let’s not forget one of our favorite homes in the Caribbean, Aruba truly lives up to its tagline “One Happy Island” with one of the friendliest communities in all of the Caribbean. It also is home to a few of our favorite wreck dives including an airplane wreck and many huge Green Moray Eels.

Jamaica

The birth place of Reggae, Jamaica offers a wide array of adventures. Dive into bioluminescent bays, cliff jump into crystal blue waters, dive into explore the colorful reefs and hike lush waterfalls. Top that off with authentic Jerk to spice up your day while enjoying live Reggae and we may just have to stay a while.

Cayman Islands

Known as the carefree corner of the Caribbean, the 3 islands composing the Cayman Islands offer a variety of adventures and are one of the top diving destinations in the Caribbean. From limestone caves to impressive walls and wrecks, Cayman Brac offers the perfect playground for divers and thrill seekers. Get away from it all on Little Cayman, a remote wonderland often featured in films and books. Top it off with a visit to Grand Cayman where art and culture live in harmony with barefoot adventures.

Quintana Roo, Mexico

Cruising from Isla Mujeres and beyond into remote destinations within Quintana Roo. Explore Mayan Ruins, sandy beaches and undersea caverns. Diver’s will delight in diving into all the colors of the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. You may even meet the magical Whale Shark who tops our bucket wish list. Complete your travels with an array of delicious tacos, salsas, local cerveza and of course some of the best tequilas around. It’s a good thing we will be giving Mexico a second visit while sailing the Pacific, as we really can’t get enough of tequila and tacos.

Belize

Home to the second largest barrier reef in the world and three of the four atolls in the Western Hemisphere, Belize welcomes new friends with some of the friendliest folks in the Caribbean. Boasting 237 miles of sandy coastline and 236,000 acres of lush rain forests, here one could stand with one foot in the jungle and one fin in the sea. Island hop through the many Cayes, snorkel colorful reefs, befriend nurse sharks, rays, whale sharks and dive into the Great Blue Hole. Discover ancient Mayans cities, howler monkeys, jaguars and unite with your inner Indian Jones in exploring the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave….snakes not included.

Bay Islands, Honduras

Situated along the the Southern edge of the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world, the Bay Islands are comprised of 8 islands and 53 small cayes. Renowned as a diver’s paradise, the main islands of Roatán, Utila and Gunaja feature white sand beaches, lush landscapes, crystal blue waters and a spectacular variety of marine life.

Each island boasts a unique experience. Known as the “Venice” of the Bay Islands due to it’s waterways and canals, the exotic island of Guanaja is the most remote and the only island with a natural waterfall. Home to sloth, monkey and even Tiger encounters, Roatán is the largest island and features a plethora of activities above and below the sea. The funky backpackers island of Utila is a laid back diver’s hub and the perfect spot for Whale Shark sightings as well as hopping a tuk-tuk or golf cart to explore what many call the culinary capital of the Bay Islands.

Bocas Del Toro, Panama

Comprised of part mainland and part island chain, relax into the laid-back vibes of Bocas del Toro, Panama. Surf, snorkel or dive into Isla Bastimentos National Park, take in the glow of Bioluminescence and paddle uninhabited islands. We look forward to wandering jungled paths to meet the Wizard and having a beer with the frogs of Red Frog Beach.

San Blas Islands, Panama

Considered the #1 vacation destination in South America, the San Blas Islands are undiscovered by the spoils of tourism. With over 378 islands within the archipelago de San Blas, most of the islands remain uninhabited while larger islands are home to the Kuna aka Guna, a gentle native people of the area. The perfect island hopping adventure, soak in the tranquil blues, the magical surround of bioluminescence and be the first to leave footprints in the white sand beaches as well as acquaint yourself with a simpler time and traditional culture.

The Panama Canal

A bucket list item for many, we will be offering this once in a lifetime opportunity to join us as crew on our traverse of the Panama Canal.

Diving

As a full service PADI dive boat and official SCUBAPRO dealer, we have an onboard compressor, premium SCUBAPRO and Atomic rental gear, PADI Instruction offering a variety of certification options and Emergency O2 with the full training to ensure your safety. Diving can be added to any CruiseNautic experience. Contact us to add diving to your adventure aboard CruiseNautic.

No Certifications or Dives Required

No minimum dives or certification is required. If you are new to diving you can complete your PADI Open Water certification with us and move on to enjoying a variety of exciting dives during your CruiseNautic experience or consider giving diving a try with Discover Scuba.

Go Pro

Join us aboard CruiseNautic for your divemaster training in paradise. Each location offers opportunities for a fantastic dive experience with opportunities to meet other local dive communities and connections throughout the Caribbean.
